Gold Bar Cop Shop Report

Pay attention now.
Deputies have been stopping violators for speed and stop sign violation on 1st Street and may Creek Road, issuing warnings or ticketing violators where appropriate.
At least two of these stops have resulted in arrests on outstanding warrants, one of them an incident over the last weekend of November where both the driver and passenger of the vehicle fled on foot from the deputy.
One was contacted and arrested. Additional resources were summoned to search for the other but he was not located.
Warnings were issued for abandoned and/or occupied RVs on Gold Bar streets. All were voluntarily removed by the responsible parties.
On Monday November 28 Deputy Griner investigated a "suspicious complaint" at the Index School. It was determined that no crime occurred. (We dunno what was suspicious or what prompted somebody to complain about it, but these things happen from time to time. You should file this under the category of "stuff happens.")
Sheriff's deputies received complaints regarding campers in the US Forest Service sites just outside of town who had not been there past 14 days. The complainant was referred to USFS.
Deputies also communicated with USFS regarding an apparently abandoned 5th wheel, but it was voluntarily removed before any police action took place. (More "stuff happens")
Now we get to our favorite part, the colored charts. The tables and charts (above right) compare "incident types of service as reported for the Gold Bar Regional contract."
In any event, the charts are really fun to look at and you should do so mindful as always of keeping your hands to yourself.
And remember kids, crime does not pay. So mind yer P's & Q's and stay on that righteous path. Go to church. Listen to a few screaming preachers now and then. That will put your mind right.
Or cause you to lose touch with reality and go insane. Everyone reacts differently to that stuff.
