(GOLD BAR, WA) - A Gold Bar man who almost died from a mystery illness that struck him suddenly and without warning last month is now home and recuperating following an almost two month life and death struggle against an unknown would-be killer.

(GOLD BAR, WA) – The Snohomish County medical examiner’s office has identified the body of the fisherman found last Friday morning in the Skykomish River near Gold Bar.

(EVERETT, WA) - A formerly healthy Gold Bar man who out of the blue became very sick last month with a mystery ailment has taken a turn for the worse. Doctors say an infection in thirty-eight year old Cory Zoutte’s body has spread to his brain. Zoutte was scheduled to be transferred to the University of Washington Medical Center by sometime today.

(GOLD BAR, WA) -- The social outreach program "Safe Stop" for kids made it's debut appearance in Gold Bar this past Wednesday evening and is scheduled to be held each Wednesday night for the remainder of the school year at Gold Bar Elementary school's multipurpose room.
