(REGIONAL) -- If the returns tallied as of just after 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening are any indication, voters were on their way to approving R-71, the law granting same-sex couples the same legal rights as married couples (51.45% to 48.55%) and were saying no to Tim Eyman’s latest cut-government initiative 1033.
