GOLD BAR FIREFIGHTERS ADVANCE TO FINALS OF NATIONAL BBQ COOKOFF

It must be some serious finger lickin' good barbecue chicken the firefighters at Snohomish County Fire District # 26 in Gold Bar cook up.

Either that or the corporate suits at Tree Top Apple Juice had a bonafide pleasure spasm watching the firefighters’ video entry, as the local fire-dousers put enough shameless free plugs for the juice company in their video (Tree Top is sponsoring the cook off) to choke an Alabama mule, spin him around sixteen times and make him shoot 30-inch flames out of each nostril.

Be that as it may, it’s a pretty fun video and worth a squint. Billy Bob Ray-Ray Johnson, the Chronicle’s in-house food editor gives the video a solid 8.5 cause it has a good beat and you can dance to it. Kind of like Lady Ga Ga’s stuff.

JET DANGLES IN MID AIR

This may be one of the few times you witness a large jetliner being in this much trouble in the air without the footage being followed by a deadly crash.

Watch this RT television recently released video footage of a jetliner in the Moscow area as a pilot struggles to regain control of the aircraft.

The video, shot by a plane spotter at an airport in the Moscow region, shows a Tupolev-154 government owned jet evidently going out of control shortly after take off. Click READ MORE to bring up the video player.
