INDEX ARTS FESTIVAL August 7, 2010

August 08, 2010

Walk through video of Index Arts Festival in August 2010. It rained a constant, foggy drizzle on the festival all freaking day. Did not let up for one minute. But do you think that dampened the enthusiasm of those hardy, pioneer like Indexians? Not on your life Skippy. Rain don't mean diddlesquat to your regular Indexian who can chew rusty nails and spit out stainless steel all day long.

We're talkin' folks who go deer huntin' in the dead of winter buck naked with nothin' but a sling shot for no other reason than it gives the deer a fighting chance. The being naked part is a bit hard to explain when a local deputy rolls by in a county sheriff patrol car but that 's a story for another time.

BRUTAL CAR CRASH & NOBODY SERIOUSLY INJURED

July 19, 2010

This is one of the most brutal, body grinding car crashes you’ll ever see. It happened in mid July 2010 on a Sunday at the Seat Leon SuperCup race at Britain's Brands Hatch racecourse.

It amazingly resulted in no serious injuries.

The touring car racing series was stunned when driver Francisco Carvalho made contact with an opponent’s car, sending the Portuguese driver’s vehicle tumbling end over end over the protective barrier and into the pit crew area.

SULTAN HIGH MARCHING BAND

July 13, 2010

This is one of the best high school bands in the state, the award winning Sultan High School Marching Band.

This clip was taken at the Sultan “Shindig” parade in July 2010 in Sultan, WA. Note: the audio on this clip does not do the band justice, as the audio system in the video recorder was not broadcast quality.

So be sure and see this band live. You won’t be disappointed.

MR. P’S INCREDIBLE 31’ BUICK ROADSTER

July 11, 2010

When we first saw this astounding auto at the classic car show n’ shine show at the 2010 Sultan Shindig in July, it was love at first sight.

Videos and pictures do not do this baby justice. This is one of the most gorgeous custom street rods you’ll ever see. It’s owned by Dick Prendergast of Sultan.

This video and the still shot were taken by a SkyValleyChronicle.com shooter Saturday July 10, 2010 at the Sultan Shindig.

The vehicle is a 1931 Buick “Vickie” roadster and it’s just the freakin bomb. The color is so deep on this paint job that when you look down into it you can see China.

Everything on this car is perfect and gorgeous. Dick recently had it appraised for $200,000. See the hood ornament? Had to be made from an original mold that some guy back east had. The ornament alone cost $500 to reproduce.

To find out all the other stuff Dick did to get this thing in show shape over the past eight years, watch the video.

THE "OLD SPICE" GUY IS BAAAAAACK!

July 01, 2010

This guy is bookoo amusing. The hilarious TV commercial pitchman for Old Spice products, Isaiah Mustafa is back and funnier than ever. This time he’s not in a boat or in the shower or on a horse.

Instead, he’s balancing on a log in a lake, swan diving down a rocky waterfall and taking a dip in a hot tub — on a motorcycle. No kidding. Take a look for yourself. Click READ MORE to bring up the video player.
