To The Editor:

We have some comments on the change over at Valley General Hospital, Monroe, The hospital has now merged and is now a part of the Evergreen Health Care System. This is a good thing.

As a patient both my wife and I had excellent care in the main hospital and also in the Emergency Room. The Doctors and staff were friendly and also very professional.

To the Editor,

Valley General Hospital, like many hospitals throughout the state, is going through difficult economic times.

The recent affiliation with Evergreen Health, Kirkland, WA, along with passing the levy on April 23rd will ensure that our hospital district maintains a full service hospital and basic health care services for all residents of our hospital district.

It is our belief that having a local, full service hospital plays a critical part in meeting our valley’s health care needs today, and in future years.

(MONROE, WA) -- An official from Wikipedia has confirmed that claims originating from someone alleging to be Gold Bar, Washington attorney Anne Block in an email threat to a newspaper, as well as blog postings regarding the matter, are false and that the newspaper was correct in its assertion that it sourced appropriately information about Ms. Block for a news story.
