Former FBI Dir. Comey’s Explosive New Book About Trump
Gets down and medieval on the man he says ‘lies about all things’

(NATIONAL) – The new book from former FBI Director James Comey, “A Higher Loyalty,” that comes out next Tuesday may shock some people but not millions of Americans who have by now judged President Donald Trump on his own actions after a year in office as nothing less than a lying “dirtbag,’ as Phillip Mudd, former FBI Senior Intelligence Adviser described Trump while being interviewed on CNN on Wednesday.

Here’s the advance juice on the book from CNN broadcasts and other published sources this week:

~ Comey says in the book that President Donald Trump reminds him of a “mob boss.” Interesting in that Comey used to prosecute organized crime figures. He says being in the Trump White House gave him flashbacks from that period of his life. Gosh, what a surprise.

~ And nothing new here: Comey says Trump is always "lying about all things," has an insatiable need for "complete control," on events and an obsession with “personal loyalty.” Most Americans figured out those aspects of Trump’s nature a long time ago.

A Comey interview on the book is going to be aired Sunday night on the ABC television network. A blurb on ABC says one source present at the taping says Comey's interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos, airing Sunday at 10 p.m. as a "20/20" special, is "going to shock the president and his team."

We doubt that, since Trump's cronies and his sycophant pals at Fox “The Fix Is In” Not Real News have already launched a counter strike media offensive trying to paint Comey as the liar.

By the way, that’s an interesting defensive posture for Trump and his Fox Not Real News pals to take when you consider this: looking at how many times Trump has been caught by reporters as well as John Doe Public in a bold faced lie and/or misstating facts and/or saying things are “facts” when they are clearly not facts, and then looking at how many times Comey has done the same thing during the same time frame, which man do you suppose passes the test of being a consummate, chronic and vindictive liar not to mention having the emotional stability of an angry 13-year old boy?

Here’s how Comey described a meeting about the Russian interference into the US Presidential election, in which he said he briefed Trump's inner circle:

"I had never seen anything like it in the Oval Office. As I found myself thrust into the Trump orbit, I once again was having flashbacks to my earlier career as a prosecutor against the Mob. The silent circle of assent. The boss in complete control. The loyalty oaths. The us-versus-them worldview.

The lying about all things, large and small, in service to some code of loyalty that put the organization above morality and the truth. To my mind, the demand was like Sammy the Bull's Cosa Nostra induction ceremony — with Trump in the role of the family boss, asking me if I have what it takes to be a 'made man.’

For those readers too young to understand that reference, ‘Sammy the Bull’ is the nickname of Salvatore Gravano, an infamous New York gangster with quite a few kills under his belt who was part of the Gambino crime family years ago.

Comey’s book delves into the 2016 US election, Comey's interactions with Trump soon after he took office, the FBI's investigation of Hillary Clinton's emails as secretary of state and the Russian meddling into the US election process that was designed to increase chances of Trump winning.
