The “anti-patriarchy” movement is going to be bigger than the Tea Party

(NATIONAL) – President Trump may not want to hear it, but his one time pal and former White House employee Steve Bannon has some advice and a warning: the "anti-patriarchy movement" is going to shake up and alter the power structure in this country.

"I think it's going to unfold like the tea party, only bigger," the former White House chief strategist told Bloomberg News. "It's not Me Too. It's not just sexual harassment. It's an anti-patriarchy movement."
Bannon adds that, "Time's up on 10,000 years of recorded history. This is coming. This is real."
His comments came in a long interview with writer Michael Lewis published a few days ago in Bloomberg News in which Bannon also revealed he’s installed surveillance cameras and bulletproof windows in his home -- and hired former Navy SEALs to guard it.
Why all of that? Bannon says he can no longer “go out without being recognized and hounded. “I’m on a constant loop out there as the f**king devil,” he says...I can’t go out. I have not walked into a bookstore since Aug. 15, 2016.”
Here’s another Bannon revelation: he can’t stand to watch the right-wing oriented Fox News, often referred to as the Public Relations arm of the Republican Party.
“Fox News fills both screens,” writes Lewis as he visits Bannon’s townhouse in the nation's capitol. “Bannon enters, takes one look at the scene and says, “Can we change it to CNN? My brain already hurts.” He advised a president who couldn’t take his eyes off cable news, but he himself detests it. “I can’t watch a second of it,” he says. “Zero.”
