Wash. State Supreme Court Votes To Disbar Gold Bar Attorney

(OLYMPIA, WA.) -- The Washington State Supreme Court has voted to disbar controversial Gold Bar, Washington attorney Anne Block.

The state's highest court makes all final decisions regarding lawyer discipline in misconduct cases. Block's disbarment was effective Friday July 15.
In a document dated July 8, 2016 the high court wrote, "Anne K. Block is disbarred from the practice of law. Pursuant to ELC (Enforcement of Lawyer Conduct) 13.2 the effective date of disbarment is 7 days from the date of this order. Costs and expenses pursuant to ELC 13.9, as approved by the disciplinary board, and restitution, pursuant to ELC 13.7, as approved by the disciplinary board, will be paid by Anne K. Block."
