Summer youth sports camps coming to local parks

(MONROE, WA.) --- The Monroe Parks & Recreation Department is partnering with Skyhawks to bring a variety of summer youth sports camps to local parks.

The camps are available for ages 4 to 12 and wil run from June 25 to August 10 and include the following sports: Mini-Hawk Camp (Soccer/Baseball/Basketball), Multi-Sport Camp (Soccer/Baseball/Flag Football), Cheerleading Camp, Soccer Camp, Tennis Camp and Flag Football Camp.

Each participant enrolled in a Skyhawks program receives a t-shirt, merit award and either a sports-specific ball or cheer pom-pom (at cheer camp).

The camps are focused on developing and building the skills and confidence of young athletes in a fun and safe environment.
