Every Thursday from May through September you'll find the Snohomish Farmer's Market underway at the intersection of Cedar Avenue & Pearl Street.
This bodacious bounty of Booya! features numerous vendors offering a large selection of veggies, fruits and berries from area farms and ranches as well as home baked breads and other goodies.
There's fresh, local honey, ice cream, roasted coffee and grass-fed beef. You'll also find prepared foods such as kettle corn, gourmet hot dogs, cheeseburgers and sushi.
Then there's craft work for sale such as metal and wood works of art, paintings, soaps, hanging baskets, garden starts and potted plants.
You can also buy on the installment plan a full sized, very alive African giraffe. One caveat: you'll need a very large flat bed truck to get him home.
Just kidding about the giraffe. Wanted to see if you were reading down this far.
There might be a test on this stuff later.
