The award recognizes the accomplishments of high school age students who live in the Sultan School District. Home schooled students are also eligible.
The goal of the award is to emphasize the positive achievements of the area’s young people by recognizing those who have distinguished themselves in community service, politics, arts, entertainment, academics, athletics and citizenship or who have overcome obstacles to accomplish their goals, accrding to a statement issued by the city of Sultan.
“The Sky Valley has teachers and students who win regional and national awards. It is an absolute joy to see how much good these students accomplish during their high school years,” said Brian Copple, Sky Valley Chamber President.
